Frequently asked

Do I need to install anything?
No. El Bujías runs from the browser on your phone or desktop. It's a Progressive Web App (PWA) you can pin to your home screen like a native app, but you never go through the App Store.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. Your customer gets a link on WhatsApp and opens it in their browser. They watch the video, review the quote, and tap approve. No account, no app, no signup.
Is it secure? What about my data?
All traffic is encrypted over SSL and hosted on European servers (Hetzner, Germany). We comply with GDPR. You own your data and can export it or delete it at any time.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. No lock-in, no fees. You cancel and keep using it until your paid period ends. Your data stays for 30 days so you have time to export it.
Does it work on my old phone?
If your phone opens WhatsApp, it can run El Bujías. It works on any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) on Android or iPhone. You don't need the latest model.
I already use Excel or paper. Why change?
Excel can't send a diagnostic video to your customer, can't let them approve from their phone, and can't generate VeriFactu invoices. El Bujías does all of that, plus MOT reminders and a complete service history per vehicle.
Can I bring my data from another program?
Yes, and it's free. We migrate your customers, vehicles, order history, invoices, inventory and accounting from your current program. We handle it: you keep working and start on El Bujías with your whole history already inside.
What happens when the free period ends?
Nothing, if you don't want to continue: we don't ask for a card to start, so nothing is charged on its own. To continue, you subscribe from Settings. Otherwise your account becomes read-only and you can export your data.
Does it work for a workshop in the Canary Islands or Catalonia?
Yes. In the Canaries it invoices with IGIC and prepares an orientative Modelo 420. In Catalonia you can issue quotes, receipts and invoices in Catalan, and customer messages go out in Catalan.
