Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser. Similar technologies also exist, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage), which allow information to be saved on your device.
2. What does El Bujías use?
El Bujías does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies (visits to the public website are measured without cookies, see section 4). Our application uses exclusively the browser's local storage (localStorage) for essential technical functions:
| Stored data | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| access_token | Session authentication (JWT) | Essential |
| refresh_token | Session renewal | Essential |
| theme | Theme preference (light/dark/system) | Functional |
| language | Language preference | Functional |
| cookie_consent | Record of your choice about this policy | Essential |
3. Why don't we need consent?
In accordance with Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE and the GDPR guidelines, storage that is technically necessary to provide a service requested by the user is exempt from the consent requirement. All the data we store in your browser is strictly necessary for the application to work or to remember your preferences.
4. Third-party cookies
El Bujías does not include any third-party cookies. On the public pages (the website and sign-up) we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate: which pages are viewed and where visitors come from. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not identify you. It is not used inside the application or on the pages your customers receive. We do not use:
- Google Analytics or any analytics that identifies you or follows you across websites
- Social media tracking pixels
- Advertising networks
- Remarketing tools
If in the future we incorporate a third-party service that uses cookies, we will update this policy and request your consent where necessary.
5. How to manage local storage
You can delete the data stored locally at any time from your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Privacy → Choose what to clear
Note: Deleting this data will sign you out and reset your theme and language preferences.
6. More information
For more information about how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
