Electronic invoicing
VeriFactu invoicing
without the hassle.
The VeriFactu regulation will require invoicing with a hash chain and reporting to the AEAT. El Bujías already prepares it for you — you just press "Issue".
VeriFactu invoicing included. No extra cost.
What is VeriFactu and why does it affect you?
VeriFactu is the new verifiable electronic invoicing system of the Spanish tax agency (AEAT). It comes from Royal Decree 1007/2023 and requires all invoicing software to meet certain technical requirements:
- Each invoice must be cryptographically chained (SHA-256 hash) to the previous one
- Invoices must be reported to the AEAT automatically
- Once issued, the invoice is immutable — it cannot be modified, only voided
- Include a verification QR code on every invoice
If you are a self-employed worker or an SME in Spain, your invoicing software must comply from 1 January 2027 (companies) or 1 July 2027 (self-employed and IRPF). If you invoice with Excel, Word or an old program, you need to adapt.

How El Bujías handles your invoicing
Automatic sequential numbering
Each invoice gets its correlative number within its series, with no gaps and no duplicates. You choose the series, the format and the number you start from (A-000001, 046, F-046…) before you issue the first one.
SHA-256 hash chain
Each invoice is cryptographically linked to the previous one. Impossible to alter one without breaking the whole chain.
Verification QR code
Every invoice carries the AEAT verification QR and the «VERI*FACTU» legend as soon as the workshop activates VeriFactu with its certificate.
Ready to submit to the AEAT
El Bujías generates the record VeriFactu requires and is ready to submit it to the Spanish tax agency as soon as the regulation takes effect. No manual steps.
Professional PDF
Generates PDFs ready to send to the customer by WhatsApp or email. With all the legal fields.
Accountant export
One button to send a CSV + all the quarter’s PDFs to your accountant’s email. No middlemen.
How it works day to day
You close the work order
When you hand the car back, El Bujías automatically creates a draft invoice with the order’s lines.
You issue the invoice
You review the draft and press "Issue". The hash is generated, and it's ready to be submitted to the AEAT and to carry the verification QR. The invoice is now immutable.
You send it to the customer and the accountant
The PDF goes out to the customer by WhatsApp or email. At the end of the quarter, one button sends a CSV + all the PDFs to your accountant.
This is how you activate VeriFactu in El Bujías
Upload your certificate
In Settings → VeriFactu, upload your workshop’s digital certificate (.p12) and its password. The step-by-step guide is inside the app.
We check that it matches
Before activating, we compare the certificate’s holder with your workshop’s tax ID.
Invoices sent automatically from then on
Every invoice you issue from that point is sent to the AEAT. A rejected or unanswered record is resent on its own.
Before issuing an ordinary invoice, we check the customer’s tax ID and name against the AEAT census. A record the AEAT rejects or doesn’t answer is resent automatically, and anything left unsent shows in the app. Every type of record the program issues has been accepted in the AEAT test environment, and the manufacturer’s responsible declaration is already signed — read it here.
